About the Provider
Patricia L. Truitt is a Registered Nurse with 38 years of nursing experience. Pat has worked in a variety of nursing areas including Medicine, Surgery,
Operating Room, Staff Development, Developmental Disabilities, Infection Control, Consulting, Parish Nursing, and Education. She originally developed this
course in 1989 to meet the need for education for LPN's who have been inactive or allowed their license to lapse. She has revised the course five times to
correspond to new editions of the textbook and to meet current standards for LPN's. Pat is an independent provider, not affiliated with any school. She
is a wife, mother and grandmother who has moved around the country as her husband was transferred in his work. She understands nurses needs and supports
LPN's in being current, in practicing with excellence, and in returning to the work they love or need to do.
